Created in 1919, the company ALLIN began work sawing poplar trees. It started developing rotary cutting then plywood panel manufacturing activities before the war, using okoume logs imported from Gabon to the port of La Pallice.

Work started up again following the war and steadily developed; significant investments in the 1970s enabled the company to reach industrial size and gave it a reputation as supplier of quality products on a market opening up to competition from South-East Asian countries.

From the 1980s, export development helped to reinforce the company's position  on European markets and in particular in Northern Europe.

From 1995 onwards, the perspective of developing the first log transformation in Africa led the company ALLIN to develop special panels. This objective resulted in 2003 in the acquisition of a client located in the Netherlands, the company BRUYNZEEL, specialised in the production of plywood and by product panels for the construction and nautical worlds.

The production tool's repatriation to Le Vanneau meant that these panels could be manufactured and distributed to the entire clientele.
